Back End Hit Counter Tyrion and Varie Meet Again
Breaking the oath
Came to 'Game of Thrones' fairly late in the game and due to being so busy the binge-watching was gradual. Have plant myself truly loving the evidence, very quickly becoming one of my favourites. It totally lives up to the hype and not only does information technology practise the brilliant source fabric justice (a rarity in television) it is on its ain merits one of the finest, most addictive and consistently compelling shows in contempo years and quality-wise it puts a lot of films in recent years to shame.
It is always a Herculean task following on from such greatness seen previously. "Oathbreaker" had a tough task succeeding, and being just as good every bit, the previous episode "Home" considering how superb that episode was (one of the best Season 6 and latter flavour episodes). A tough task that it almost succeeds completely in, information technology'south not quite perfect and information technology's non every bit special but it has a vast majority of what makes 'Game of Thrones' so bully and signs that one shouldn't give upwards on the show.
Tommen needs to develop a stronger personality and accept more meat to his material before existence considered as a love to hate character for me. Actually though there is hardly anything incorrect with "Oathbreaker". It doesn't matter that it is not as action-packed as the previous two episodes (compared to "The Red Woman" really that'south a adept thing), while not quite existence a slow or placidity episode either. Information technology also doesn't matter that it doesn't accept as many reveals, shocks or cliff-hangers equally "Habitation".
What "Oathbreaker" does brilliantly in is putting things in place for what is to follow, without feeling like filler, forwarding story momentum and advancing graphic symbol development and interplay. Daenerys and Arya are particularly well done in this regard and information technology was wonderful to meet some development to Khaleesi. The highlight of the episode though is the Tower of Joy, totally exhilarating.
Have nothing to fault the cast, who requite uniformly never less than great performances. Iwan Rheon plays a true slimeball to perfection, now Ramsay is my definition of a love to detest character.
Visually, "Oathbreaker" looks amazing, every bit ane would expect for 'Game of Thrones'. The scenery is throughout spectacular, the sets are hugely atmospheric and cute on the eyes with a existent meticulous eye for particular and the costumes suit the characters to a tee. The make-up is beautifully done. As well the cinematography and editing, which are cinematic quality every bit well.
One cannot talk most "Oathbreaker" without mentioning the thematically, orchestrally and atmospherically multi-layered music scoring and the unforgettable main theme. Once again, worthy of a high-budget fantasy/action/drama pic.
The writing is thought-provoking and very rich in layers with plenty of passion and sensitivity.
Summing upwards, terrific. 9/10 Bethany Cox

Weakest yet
Alarm: Spoilers
OATHBREAKER is possibly the weakest GAME OF THRONES episode yet and the first where I started to go actively bored while watching. The reason with this is that it'due south a dialogue-heavy episode that only goes on and on and on with long-winded conversations that even worse don't add anything to the narrative or move the plot on in whatever fashion; they're just at that place for character. At least the Arya conversation is accompanied by training scenes, whereas the High Sparrow scene is completely pointless and just goes over things we already know. The Sam and Gilly scene in the ship is also pointless, and for the "one-act" with Tyrion - why?! The only thing that makes this episode partway skilful is the stuff in the North; the Ramsey and Jon scenes are neat, and the flashback offers the all-time sword fight of the entire season.

Things Are Humid Over
I know that Cersei and Jaime are villains, but I notice myself pulling for them right now (with the exception of Margaery Tyrell (Lannister) whom I find really victimized). Simply those sparrows are so despicable. They correspond a contrived religion that calls to mind the Castilian Inquisition. They are smug and dangerous and don't seem to practice much of what they preach. I'thou actually looking forrard to this ineluctable collision. I notwithstanding don't quite know what Arya's endgame is. I remember I lost it in some of the deluge of events. Where is that dragon? Dany is playing a flake of a waiting game. At that place are and then many characters who are soon to exist rising from the ashes. John Snowfall has literally done and so. This episode, while lacking bombast, is laying a foundation of incredible explosiveness. Ramsay Bolton continues to lay downwardly his slime trail. One wants and then desperately to wipe the icky grin off his face. He has been "forced" into patricide and infanticide, merely the powers that be know what he is. What a magnificent villain he is! Anyway, it's going to exist great fun watching things unfold.

the return
The return of Bran to his father youth. The return of Rickon to Winterfell. The return of Dannerys in her second fatherland. And the dialogue between Loftier Sparrow and Tommen equally a return besides, to a course of solide refuge for the vulnerable king. An episode proposing dilemmas. And ignoring, at the commencement sigh, the answers. Because all is reduced at heavy tension.

Resurrection and Conclusion
Warning: Spoilers
Jon Snow is received by Davos and Melisandre and has difficulties to sympathize what happened with him. Then he is greeted past his friends. Sam is traveling past boat with Gilly and her baby to the land of his family. Bran has other visions helped by Three-Eyed Raven and finds a hidden past of his male parent. Daenerys arrives at Vaes Dothrak and is forced to alter clothes. Varys and Tyrion notice who is financing the Sons of the Harpy. In King's Landing, Cersei orders Qyburn to send the little birds to several to spy her enemies. King Tommen confronts the High Sparrow only is manipulated by him. In Braavos, Arya continues her painful preparation. Umber meets Ramsay and delivers Osha and Rickon Stark to him to celebrate their matrimony. Jon Snowfall executes his enemies and takes a surprising decision.
"Oathbreaker" is an uneven episode of "Game of Thrones". The resurrection of Jon Snowfall, his mental attitude hanging his enemies and his conclusion in the stop of the episode are the best moments of this show. Ramsay with Rickon Stark is also promising. The other segments are only reasonable and Arya'due south journey in Braavos is annoying. My vote is seven.

Risen from the dead
Alert: Spoilers
This episode opens where the last ended; with Jon Snow waking from the dead. He is understandably confused while Melisandre is keen to know what he remembers of the time between dying and returning to life. Afterward those who killed him are punished and he decides his future is not in the Watch. Meanwhile the 3-Eyed Raven is showing Bran more than of his family's past; including things that contradict what he thought he knew about his male parent. Across the Narrow Sea Daenerys is taken to exist with the other Khal'south widows; Arya progresses in her grooming and in Meereen Varys learns who is behind the Sons of the Harpy. Dorsum in King'south Landing Tommen converses with High Sparrow and in Winterfell Rickon Stark, along with Osha, is given to Ramsay Bolton. We too come across Sam and Gilly for the starting time time this season as they sail due south through rough seas.
This was another impressive episode. I was pleased that it immediately dealt with Jon's render to life and asked whether there was divine reason, as Melisandre believes, or whether it has no greater meaning. It was interesting to come across a flashback to Ned Stark'southward early life and learn that he hadn't exactly been honest about some of his exploits; I hope nosotros learn more later, especially virtually what happened to his sis. After all the talk almost Lord Varys's 'little birds' it was interesting to learn but who they were and to encounter that they are now working for Qyburn. It was also nice to see Arya's training progress a bit; information technology was getting a bit depressing seeing this strong-willed character getting beaten down every episode even if it was necessary to make her surrender her past. The scenes with Daenerys at Vaes Dothrak were interesting plenty, even though not much happened they hinted at things to come. While this isn't the most activity packed episode information technology does have its moments; most notably an impressive sword fight in Bran'due south vision but also during Arya's training, even if in the latter case nosotros tin can guess that nobody is going to die. Finally information technology was great to see Rickon Stark again even if he is in a perilous position to be honest I'd forgotten nigh him. Overall this was another solid episode.

Jon: I failed. Davos: Good. At present go fail once again.
Warning: Spoilers
Oathbreaker is uneventful and somewhat unmemorable.
Tommen talks with the High Sparrow and makes no headway. Ramsay makes new friends, receiving Osha and Rickon Stark as a souvenir. Arya makes progress and regains her sight. Jon executes those who murdered him and and then leaves the Dark's Scout. Not much else to say.
Jon, Ramsay, Cersei and Jaime the standouts.

Really Enjoyed This Episode
Flavor vi, episode 3. Sam and Gilly are sailing to Horn Hill. Ayra is still in grooming to become No One. Bran is however training with the 3-eyed raven - sees his begetter when he was younger. Ramsay gets a gift of Osha and Rickon Stark. Jon wants to know what happened to him, and leaves the Nights Sentinel. Cersei and Jaime are withal picking upwards the pieces. Tommen talks to the High Sparrow.

The Prince Who Was Promised
Alert: Spoilers
After two strong and packed episodes of Thrones, I plant 'Oathbreaker' to be on the slower side, but still had plenty to chew on. Jon Snow is officially back. Cersei is about to do some serious damage to the faith. Arya got her sight back. Dany faced some other setback. Ramsay received a gift. And we got a glimpse into the infamous Tower of Joy sequence.
I really similar that each of the first iii episodes has started at Castle Blackness. Kit Harrington has teased that this is going to be the biggest Jon Snow flavor withal, and looks similar he may exist correct. I was on the edge of my seat waiting for the outset lines out of his mouth but I was pleasantly surprised at how long they kept him silent. Seeing Davos sitting in absolute awe of what just happened was equally every bit pleasing. But zero was more satisfying than seeing his murderers hanged to death. Alliser and Olly needed to go.
With that said, seeing Snow essentially end his picket was surprising. I can't say I actually believe he will leave Castle Blackness all together, especially with Sansa just around the corner. But having Jon go out but as Sansa arrives is the type of thing Thrones loves to practise.
We finally got a little fleck of hints as to what truly happened at the legendary Belfry of Joy sword battle between Arthur Dayne and Ned Stark. Seeing that this was shown through Bran, I knew information technology wasn't going to be a prolonged sequence merely I expected to get to see the conclusion of the Rhaegar-Lyanna state of affairs atop the tower. Unfortunately, it wasn't to be this week, hopefully next episode nosotros become what we are all waiting for.
Meanwhile, Dany had another setback as the Khals decline to encounter her every bit the leader she is. Every other storyline seems to be picking upwardly the footstep, except for the Mother of Dragons. Assuming Drogon has had enough rest, he should be on his style sooner or afterward.
Back at Kings Landing, Cersei is near to put a beating down on anyone who gets in her manner. I loved seeing her and Jaime barge their way through the small council and brand their demands. Surprisingly, I'g team Lannister if information technology means getting rid of the Loftier Sparrow and the rest of the organized religion. Speaking of which, it was nice seeing Tommen make a motility on the High Sparrow, only to run into him succumb to his persuasive ways a few minutes subsequently.
Varys apparently located the leader of the Sons of the Harpy as Tyrion and the rest of the Meereen crew await patiently amongst Dany'southward absence. Information technology's unfortunate that Dinklage hasn't gotten a ton of screen fourth dimension this flavour but the few scenes he does get are always wonderful. But I don't suspect we accept seen the last of the Harpy, even with Varys' findings.
Lastly, Ramsay was presented with a Stark boy, presumably as a bargaining tool for boxing later and Arya got her sight back. I actually dug the Arya scenes this week every bit she went through her unabridged history with Wiaf and Jaqen. I know everyone is expecting her to turn on the ii of them and go afterwards the remaining people on her listing, but I'm not sold on that simply nonetheless. Ramsay on the other hand seems to be brewing up to accept Castle Black, though peradventure, it could be the other manner around. Peradventure Jon Snow takes the battle to him once Sansa informs him of what he's up to? Overall, it wasn't the near shocking or action heavy episode, but information technology had more set of what's to come. Information technology was also a nice episode at showcasing the 'Oathbreaker' theme throughout several characters. Although, With vii episodes to go, I hope the pace picks up a bit.
+Snow is a god
+Legendary sword boxing
+Arya gets her sight
+Lannisters

Another great entry into a superb season and then far
Greetings from Lithuania.
"Oathbreaker", the 3d episode in season 6 is a very adept entry into season vi so far. In this episode i loved everything for what i love this show overall - one of the kind settings, great acting, superb writing, directing and excellent pacing. Story itself is moving frontward, i like the directions information technology's taking. Afterwards a magnificent episode "Dwelling", "Oathbreaker" didn't disappointed. I loved the outcome with traitors in Castle Black and all the scenes with Jon Snow clicked right.
Overall, we are three episodes in flavor six - and they all were across good. Can't await for next entries.

Another excellent episode for the sixth season
Alert: Spoilers
Oathbreaker does a great job continuing where Dwelling house left off with Jon Snowfall being brought back to life and vowing to bring an finish to the murderers who killed him at the end of the 5th flavor. I saw the preview of this last night and much like the previous episode, it surprised me. In that location aren't whatever problems I do have with it.
The plot progression'southward very solid this time effectually and it continues to advance the story lines perfectly. Jon Snow, Arya, and Bran had so much to practise. The same goes to Daenerys and Tyrion not to mention Ramsay Bolton planning on what to do with Rickon, 1 of the Stark family members. The script is superb and the performances go along to exist compelling. Also, it has a squeamish set up to what's going to happen in the later episodes. If Jon Snow battles confronting Ramsay Bolton in the middle of this season, information technology would be actually cool.
The directing is smooth and well-focused, the editing is solid, the pacing is really good and never drags. The character relationships are withal as interesting equally they were in the previous seasons, the sets are still lavish along with the gorgeous scenery and Ramin Djawadi's music score continues to smoothen. Then, overall, Oathbreaker is another excellent episode that lives up to the high standards left past Dwelling house. Thumbs upwardly. :)

A Sad Ending
Speaking of this episode, I have to say that there are a lot of things in the episode that nosotros might miss if we don't watch them properly. Moreover some weird nice or tin can be called magic we can watch this episode. Hither are some glimpses of the onetime days, equally well as some old ones. In this episode nosotros can see all the things that we may not try to meet. I agree, the episode is a piddling slower than the previous 2 episodes. But with that it has to be said that the episode is starting a lot new.

Game of Thrones - S06E03
Alert: Spoilers
I loved how they started with Jon Snow. It was only plumbing equipment that we picked upwards right from where nosotros left off last episode. I really like how well Harington played this scene. Nosotros've really only seen a leader Snow and from what I can remember we haven't seen a big range of emotion from Jon Snow equally a grapheme. I thought Harington brought a large amount of emotion to his reawakening especially with him dealing with trying to come to terms with what has happened. I actually liked how the following scene played out with anybody existence so scared of Jon, and Tormund being the one to speak anybody else'southward minds.
Catching upwardly with Sam is always great. It's the first time this season nosotros got to see him and I think they really gave a slap-up introduction and reminder to what is happening with him and Gilly. I really promise that nosotros go to run into Sam back at Castle Black sooner rather than subsequently considering I really liked the relationship they have set betwixt Sam and Jon. At that place'due south a part of me all the same that is really interested to encounter where they are going to go with Gilly and Sam, I feel like we could see a large typical Game of Thrones twist involving them in some way.
Again everything with the 3 Eyed Raven and Brann was peachy. I liked how they backed up from last week from showing child Ned and a more matured teen Ned this week. I really like how through Brann was are getting a form of prequel series to what happened earlier season i. So far I've really loved these and I tin only promise that they really keep this throughout the flavor. I actually love Max von Sydow in these scenes. I recall he really plays the power figure well actually stands as a wise character.
I'll admit, I'yard not too certain on the management they are taking with Daenerys. From the start of the serial I was really invested in Daenerys and her drive towards the iron throne. Just since the starting time of season 5, she'south been a chip of a permit downwardly. While everything with the dragons and her fourth dimension at Meereen wasn't in anyway slow, I just miss the drive she had earlier in the serial. I promise they actually recapture this attribute of her and get to see her back as a dominant force in the serial.
I really loved Varys in this episode. I similar how he is no longer playing the side character and is condign a leader in his own mode. As the audience nosotros really saw him pulling the strings and being a dominate graphic symbol simply its great to run into him step up and take on a large role and dominate in it.
Again, Tyrion was fantastic. Peter Dinklage continue to hit it out of the park. Full credit to the writers though. They have really turned the rut on Tyrion and he has and so many memorably lines. He is actually the comedic relief of this show and he plays this role fantastically. I loved how he had some wised words and when questioned who said it, he replied that it was him. Even though I've heard that singe joke heaps of times, it'south the execution from Dinklage that allows him to nail it.
I thought everything at Kings Landing was fantastic. I really like how they are playing with the Zombiefied Mount. Everything from the reaction of the kids to the old guy, that I volition never recall his name, farting himself. For me I really hope that nosotros get to meet The Mount in activity again this flavor. I know we are merely a brusk way through but I'm but hoping that we get to see him play a massive role in the dorsum role of the flavor.
Tommen really got a big part this episode and I actually liked it. While he is no Joffery and nosotros don't honey to detest him, I love he we are seeing him grow as a king. I thought he had a fantastic conversation with the High Sparrow. High Sparrow has been really great this flavour and has followed on from his large part at the dorsum end of last flavor. Bit by chip I'm starting to really like him equally a character.
Arya'south storyline stepped up this episode. I've ever loved Ayra'southward storyline and I thought that information technology was always going to be interesting to see what happens with her blindness. I actually loved the Daredevil mode training montage we got this episode. They really represented her drive and determination which is a feature that fabricated Arya ane of my favourite characters.
The reveal at the Bolton Castle was extremely unexpected but I loved it. We unfortunately got a bit of a spoiler from Maisie Williams that Rickon was going to return but I expected that to be towards the end of the flavour. I'm probably the same as everyone else in thinking that Rickon has grown upward a hell of a lot. Y'all actually can see with the hair how he looks so much similar Rob Stark. Hopefully the story with Rickon is played out well through the last scrap of the season. At that place would be nothing worse than having both him and Osha reappear in the serial for them to simply be killed off.
I thought the last scenes was a bully way to end the episode. I wasn't really excepting to be a major decease this episode, allow lonely 4 hangings. I liked how they came full circle this episode and ended back on Jon to get revenge on his death. Of grade the big moment was Jon retiring from his Command. It at present lays a great foundation to have Jon on a different path that nosotros oasis't seen him in a while since his fourth dimension with the Wildlings.

This flavor ... And then far spectacular
Warning: Spoilers
The beginning two episodes of this flavor caught me off guard, they were beautiful written, acted and upped their game of product, making this season the near visual stunning yet.
This episode continues this tradition and gives us yet again another stunning episode. The first shot we get is of David' face and the sheer shock on his confront fabricated me smile. The way the actors reacted to Jon'due south resurrection was as real as it was going to get.
Without whatever spoilers, this episode is very dull paced when compared to the others. But at that place are many scenes, including the Tower of Joy scene, which is fantastic. We finally get to meet a decent sword fight since season 4.
Still there are some plot twists that are much dissimilar than the book, which might annoy some volume readers, and the gift presented to Ramsey, I wasn't as well fond of. Unless information technology is going to hit Ramsey dorsum in the head, I hope they don't kill the gift off, as we accept not seen him in 3 years. Information technology would be a waste.
Other than that, this episode was brilliant, I can't await to come across the free Jon Snow kicking some ass.

Solid Episode
Alert: Spoilers
This episode was very good. No shocking reveals or resurrections, just practiced storytelling. This episode Jon wakes up from a long nap. With Davos and Jon both thinking WTF but not actually proverb annihilation, Jon gets up realizing he was indeed dead. A lot Information technology is said without words actually being spoken. Tower of joy. Much anticipated scene, I idea it was very well done especially Arthur Dayne, I thought he looked astonishing with the sword. This was also interesting to see how things actually happened rather than the survivors interpretations of what happened. Unfortunately Max Von Sydow did bluish ball us past taking Bran out of this vision earlier we could go into the tower. Hopefully we revisit this soon. Bran is non happy nigh getting taken out of the past to live in the present due to his happiness in the past and his dismal present and out looking future . Daenyrs joins other khal widows. We have not seen much of her this season through three episodes.. Lord Varys gets some data. Cersei states her intention to fight ser gregor as her champion against the faith. I am with Jaime, I cannot wait to see this trial by combat(CBGH) Pycelle lets loose afterwards seeing ser gregor. The small-scale counsel leaves Jaime and cersei. Tommen gets manipulated yet once more. Very skillful scene with the loftier sparrow and tommen, tommen hands swayed after hearing something tywin once told him nearly listening to counsel then he takes this advice. Arya gets her sight dorsum through it appears she is still drawn to her family, when she is praying to the olds gods of her family unit despite non knowing this while beingness blind. Rickon and Osha return and shaggy dog. I have watched this scene multiple times and I actually practise not believe that was shaggy dog and I do not believe the Umbers are being direct with Ramsey. I don't know if it is merely wishful thinking, but the wolf's head was small and Umber was throwing around a lot of insults and refused to swear whatsoever allegiance. Nosotros shall meet. Jon gets justice against his murderers, we go justice with a long glimpse at #f*c*Olly. Jon states to everyone that because he has died, his watch has concluded as he drops the mic and walks off stage.

Sigh...
Alert: Spoilers
This show has gone off the deep end this flavour. Let me get-go past list a few grievances.
What was the indicate in showing the Belfry of Joy flashback if they were going to omit what fabricated it important in the first place? I hateful, That scene was admittedly irrelevant in showing if they weren't going to testify it all the way through. I would become in depth about what was supposed to go down but only book readers know what I am talking about.
Likewise, graphic symbol motivations no longer make and sense any. Anybody who has a general understanding of the show understands that Umbers are fiercely loyal to the Starks. However when Rickon arrives to the Umbers, they take niggling Rickon, kill his wolf, and requite him to Ramsey. Yes, because that totally makes sense within the lore of the show.
In add-on to this, I read somewhere that Ramsey has become a Mary Sue blazon villain, and I have to agree with this argument. The thing that made Joffrey such a captivating villain was that he had limits, boundaries and actual motivations. Idiotic deportment he committed actually had dire consequences. But nope, that's not the case with Ramsey! He is able to commit stupid determination after stupid decision and non receive whatever consequences whatever. NOPE! He is able to receive a new institute marry and Rickon Stark! WOW! That makes sense in a universe where every action has consequences.
I also am despising the amount of screen fourth dimension they are devoting to Tommen. I mean, the best role nigh Tommen in the novels is that he is young and absolutely irrelevant to everything going on in Kings Landing. It is Cersei who the Kings Landing pplot was also focused on, but instead the show is trying to really brand united states care almost Tommen when he is admittedly irrelevant to the overall story.
Besides, Jon Snows resurrection has to exist one of the most anti-climatic things in Television receiver history afterward all of the hype. Usually the thing that fabricated resurrection so interesting in the Game of Thrones universe was the fact that when someone gets resurected, they suffer dire consequences. When Beric would be continually revived by Thoros, he would forget things of his past, until he eventually forgot everything he was. Jon Snowfall is exactly the same. I mean, one could argue that all he cares well-nigh is vengeance seeing how he hanged the peple who killed him, merely I don't see it this way. These people had to be murdered for killing their Lord Commander, not considering Jon is inverse and out for vengeance. Jon Snowfall is exactly the aforementioned with no character regression or anything.
The but things they did somewhat correct is daenerys storyline and the storyline in Meeren. However, the war that they are setting up in Meeren is something they shoud've already set upwardly a season ago, and despite the fact that they are going this route now doesn't make upwardly for all of the bs that occurred this episode.
All in all, I am not excited with the direction this flavor is going anymore. This will most similar be flagged down equally non helpful past the Game of Thrones fanatics who praise each episode. Hey merely if you read my review, I thank y'all for your time.

Redemption time is near - 'My watch is ended'
Alarm: Spoilers
In the last episode Domicile, finally the dominoes fell down and now in Adjuration- breaker the pieces are beingness gear up upwardly for the remaining vii episodes. This is kind of episode that takes the story forward, a typical Game of Thrones episode. We had excellent conversations, gripping activity sequence and shocking deaths.
It is nice to see the story starts off with Jon Snowfall, his reaction to the resurrection was captured perfectly. With Davos and Melisandrae beside him, it is time for retribution. Although nosotros wont be getting the Battle of Winterfell whatsoever time soon. Ser Allister Throne's final words captures his character perfectly. Although I was looking for some kind of interaction between Olly and Jon Snow.
The Tower of Joy fight sequence casts some shadow on the Accolade of Ned Stark, making him look more man. The fight sequence could take been better though. It was no where shut to the Mountain vs Oberyn Martell sequence in season iv. The writers volition probably skip Bran's story line (Discover that both Bran and FlashBack are missing in the episode 4 preview) in the next episode so we have to await 2 more weeks for R+L=J.
It was good to see Sam once again. He volition take a bigger role to play once he learns from the books in the library.
Many people believe that Dany'south story arc has nose dived in Season 6. But I believe she is going to find something important at Vaes Dothrak that is going to ascertain her future. And hopefully to find her way back to Westeros. Back at Mareen her story was going no where.
I take always wondered how Varys works with his piffling birds. Now we know he uses children, mostly orphans for spying. It would be interesting whether his fiddling birds in Kings Landing work as double agents now that they are nether Qyburn who has taken charge of the post of Master of Whispers.
Tommen is not a barbarous male monarch similar his brother. He is not a mad king similar Aerys II Targaryen. He is non an irresponsible king like Robert Baratheon. To sum upwardly he is no kind of Rex. Just a puppet. Most likely his death is imminent. However his life is all that is holding dorsum a full fledged civil war is Westeros.
The best part of today's episode is Arya's progress to become a no-1. She is nigh at that place. The montage of her training was excellent. Simply merely when yous think the Starks are safe Rickon runs into Ramsey. The death of Shaggydog was shocking. We tin safely say that there is no harm to Rickon's life. He is more like a bargaining chip for the futurity.
+Jon is gratuitous from his oath
+Arya gets her sight back
+Death of Allister Throne and Olly
+Character development for Khaleesi
-The fight sequence at Tower of Joy could have been better.
-Two more weeks till R+50=J.
Overall a typical Game of Thrones episode 9/10

Intrigue and mystery...
Alarm: Spoilers
This episode has the unfortunate position of following upward last calendar week's powerhouse episode, and then anything this episode does should exist quite underwhelming. Well, that isn't the case with this episode every bit it delivers on everything that makes Thrones so nifty: witty dialogue, bloody action, shocking turns of events and mysterious story lines.
In terms of witty dialogue, in that location's a well-paced scene between Varys and the Harpy prostitute, preceding an excellent and downwards-correct quotable scene between Tyrion and Missandei and Grey Worm, which is just Tyrion at his best. I actually hope this season continues to give united states of america these kinds of scenes with Tyrion as they were sorely lacking last flavor considering of Tyrion's depressed and bleak mental attitude towards life, and they were also part of what made Flavor 2 so proficient. At the starting time of the episode, nosotros get a surprisingly humorous exchange between Jon and Tormund & Edd, which is right after Jon is found out to exist alive. This was really needed and worked really well every bit information technology provided some comic relief that kind of grounded the scene. Too, I don't call back Jon should be seen as a godly character since a crucial part of his graphic symbol is that he is the shameful bastard of Ned Stark, which really humanises his character.
Speaking of Ned Stark, we get the awesome and bloody action that Game of Thrones is known for as nosotros go an about Star Wars-similar sword fight between Ned & his men and a dual-wielding Arthur Dayne who takes on all of them like a boss. I was just in awe of how amazing this sequence was that I didn't heed (too much) that the flashback concluded before Ned went into the tower. Only don't become me wrong, that was INCREDIBLY frustrating! Damn Iii-Eyed Raven is such a cock-block. Although I'm pretty certain I and most everyone else knows what he'southward going to detect in that tower, I still can't await. Looks similar we'll have to wait until episode 5 to notice out the truth, which is a proficient thing because I don't think the testify was fix all the same in this episode to show the R+L=J reveal to coincidental viewers. I think in that location'south just a chip of background to comprehend to properly set that upward. I practice wonder how non-volume readers or people that just watch it casually and don't do any external research on the show will recall of this flashback. Either fashion, for me, this scene was great and all the same left on a mysterious and intriguing note. That scream Ned heard from the tower gave me chills! And it definitely sounded like a woman giving birth...
There is other adept stuff such as Jaime and Cersei teaming up and Arya's grooming finally being concluded. I mean, did I just hear Pycelle fart when he saw the Mountain? I likewise like the Ramsay & Rickon scene, though I knew it was coming, I didn't wait them to impale off Shaggy Dog. The ending scene is definitely setting upwardly some awesome future episodes with Jon Snowfall leaving the Night's Lookout man considering he did technically die.
Overrall, this episode is half payoff/conclusion to some story lines (e.grand. the identity of the Harpy's masters, the Night's Watch traitors, Arya's training, Jon'south time at the Lookout) and half-setup for future episodes, which gets me excited for what'due south to come. Withal, this episode also delivers on many of the aspects that brand Thrones dandy. The only thing that stops this episode from being a 10/10 is that in that location are no mind-blowing or overly shocking moments, but this episode definitely gets a 9/10 from me.

Amazing
Alert: Spoilers
Gets a 10 just for the appearance of Ser Arthur Dayne, a character that TV-only fans needed to meet. The fighting scene with him confronting Ned's men is one of my favourite in the whole serial. Luke Roberts did the 'best swordsman in Westeros' justice.

A brilliant episode!
This was the best installment of the season thus far. Sublime grapheme development backed up by top-notch performances, with elegantly paced directional progression of the story-line, forth with a couple of intriguing plot points and adequate humor. Altogether a terrific hour of television, excellently built up for the colossal chaos and improvident blood splatter we well-nigh certainly will exist pummeled by. Or who knows, perhaps there volition be low-cal. Equally long as the writers don't suddenly tread any ludicrous paths due to the absence of any source material, they are set up to strike gold. And at present the customary agonizing wait for the next episode begins.

Another solid episode
Warning: Spoilers
Last calendar week's episode was always going to exist a tough one to beat in terms of quality and storyline progression, simply S6E03 did a damn proficient job at trying. This episode gave satisfaction to the audition in more than means than one, and some scenes will go down in GOT history.
My personal favourite moments from the episode came from Bran and the 3-Eyed Raven. The Tower of Joy flashbacks gave us plenty content to satisfy our expectations, whilst nonetheless leaving information technology with a strong element of mystery. It was fantastic to see Eddard Stark again, even if it wasn't Sean Bean playing him this time; we forget how attached nosotros all were to Ned in flavour one, and it is rewarding and special to meet the graphic symbol again after so many years. Bran's story is really becoming interesting, he was never that interesting in my own opinion, I didn't experience any major zipper to him compared to the likes of Arya and Robb.
Flavor Vi has already had a fair few comedic moments, and this episode was no exception. The scenes in Meereen involving Tyrion and Gray Worm were hilarious. Daenerys' storyline is a chip slower compared to the others but information technology was skilful to come across her again after her absence final week. I hope we see Drogon soon! It was as well fantastic to come across Sam and Gilly again, too as Osha and Rickon.
The episodes closing human action saw the deaths we take all been peckish for so long; Olly and Alliser Thorne finally got the punishment they got for stabbing Jon. I must say that Owen Teale (Thorne) is a fantastic performer, and it will actually be sad not to have him feature on the show anymore, but so again, f**k Ser Alliser, and double f**k Olly, they deserved exactly what they got.
Overall 'Oathbreaker' is not disappointing in the slightest, and information technology really delivered with its fan service; eight/10. Functioning of the week: Max von Sydow (Iii-Eyed Raven)
